I read how to make zentangles (my latest passion) into quilts. So I've begun one. I had the original drawing enlarged, traced it onto white muslin with a blue water soluble pen & have begun to free motion quilt it, going over the blue lines with black thread.This second photo is the original zentangle drawing. I'm keeping a log of the number of hours I spend working on it, which will be many from the looks of it. I'll post progress pics as I go. This project is tougher than it looks or sounds. The quilt is only 24" square, but its taking lots of time to stitch.

Wow, Cathy, I can't wait to see how this turns out! Hope you started with plenty of extra fabric for "take-up"...ask me how I know! Please continue to show your progress.

It's gonna be FABU! You shouldn't need too much extra for take-up if you stabilize the snot out of it. Can't wait to see the finished product.
